Well aside from imperfections always seen in rep dials etc the a7750 with seconds at six could be a problem.

they tend to die. but when they do, it ain't that bad at all... they still keep perfect time ... two times per day

so if they die the watch work anyway but just the sec doesnt work?

of course but you have to set the time everytime you look @ it

No the problem is the friction with moving the seconds to 6 from 9 on the 7750 so when the seconds at 6 stops so does the watch, I have heard that the newer versions are more reliable but I can't confirm this

daniel as a new guy to Reps this time bomb movement might not be a good idea for you, maybe find another watch you like.

When I came here the first time, I was looking for a 3714 too. I read a lot and backed off.

Why don't you look for a BigPilot 5002 (I think one of the best reps available) or a PilotChrono 3777 (if it has to be a chrono)? I think these watches are better for beginners without experiences and contacts to a good (and rep-friendly) watch smith.
