bdaniel2 Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Can someone explain to me what the problem with the model IWC Portuguese watch? thank you !
concepta Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 No offense (since you´re new)..but try hit the search button! There are PLENTY of threads about this!
Mike on a bike Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Well aside from imperfections always seen in rep dials etc the a7750 with seconds at six could be a problem.
van_damme1988 Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Can someone explain to me what the problem with the model IWC Portuguese watch? thank you ! they tend to die. but when they do, it ain't that bad at all... they still keep perfect time ... two times per day
bdaniel2 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Report Posted November 20, 2013 they tend to die. but when they do, it ain't that bad at all... they still keep perfect time ... two times per day so if they die the watch work anyway but just the sec doesnt work?
chronoluvvv Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 so if they die the watch work anyway but just the sec doesnt work? of course but you have to set the time everytime you look @ it
FxrAndy Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 No the problem is the friction with moving the seconds to 6 from 9 on the 7750 so when the seconds at 6 stops so does the watch, I have heard that the newer versions are more reliable but I can't confirm this
Mike on a bike Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Yes the new improved one is available but who knows.
bdaniel2 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Report Posted November 20, 2013 But if its happened to me i can fix the issue ?
Mike on a bike Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 You can't a watch smith maybe could. 1
Mike on a bike Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 daniel as a new guy to Reps this time bomb movement might not be a good idea for you, maybe find another watch you like. 1
markiemark Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 When I came here the first time, I was looking for a 3714 too. I read a lot and backed off. Read more about movements, then about watches
higginsd Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 Why don't you look for a BigPilot 5002 (I think one of the best reps available) or a PilotChrono 3777 (if it has to be a chrono)? I think these watches are better for beginners without experiences and contacts to a good (and rep-friendly) watch smith.
