seanburke33@gmail.com Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Has anyone had any luck with this seller? I placed an oredr a couple of weeks ago and have not seen my watch. Communication was very good prior to placing the order now I cannot get any response what so ever. I know they are a trusted seller on here wondering if that staus has been validated recently.
Cromag Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 He's good. His website just got seized so that might be why you have not heard from him. He'll pro'ly respond to this thread though.
whoever Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 normally you receive a tracking number after a while....but takes some time to come from China to wherever you live....relax, have a beer, and don't think about it for a couple of weeks.
dannesyd Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Torobravo is a fantastic dealer and an ace guy, so don't worry! But do have in mind that it has been Chinese New Year for over a week and will continue to be so this week as well (meaning all of china is pretty much shut down). That might be one reason to why your not getting replies. When did you place your order?
Rolexman Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Toro exceeded my expectations. No worries.
asciwhite Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 If there is ONE seller you certainly can trust. It is ToroBravo!!! 1
jpz5142 Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 +1 to what these guys said. Toro is a good guy, but Chinese New Year celebrations last for probably another week. Then the shippers will have to catch up to all of the orders that have pilled up over the holiday.
Archetypal Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 I'm not sure that using your email address (if it is real) as your forum handle is a good move! 1
Nightwatch Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 He´s one of the best and no worries at all. Often has stock, if no stock and You have a special request/sold-out watch might take weeks for him to look for it. On top CNY. Write Toro one or 2 mails asking for the status (not 10 mails) wait some days and he´ll come back to You. Good luck.
Archetypal Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 (edited) I am lucky enough to have met T in person on numerous occasions. He's a super nice, knowledgable guy, runs a tight operation, always stands by his watches and has been in the game for years. He also shared a shanghai based watchsmith with me who has never let me down either, on the contrary takes on anything and is amazingly affordable. Edited February 5, 2014 by Archetypal
fraggle42 Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 CNY! Every year! S Oh My God!! Chinese New Year happens EVERY YEAR!?!?!? Crap! Why did no one tell me! 2
swdivad Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 I've had two perfect (recent within 60 days) purchases from him... don't worry, he'll come through!
ceocorona Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 As many have already said... You have nothing to worry about Toro is a standup guy. Welcome to the hobby that requires a lot of patience.
mikewatch Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Agreed 100% Toro always come thru.. one question tho, this is my first CNY.Did Toro's site really get seized again or does he take it down during CNY?I'm just getting a blank screen but it doesn't look like a takedown warning as it did several months ago, more like he disabled it temporarily?

He has a new website, perhaps you've been visiting the old one: http://torobravos2014.com/
mtbkr65 Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 So Noob question here, I placed an order with toro using pp, is it similar to Trusty Times process? I have ordered from Andrew 3 times all good results. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
hambone Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Nice to see so many positive sentiments for Toro Bravo. I've not had the opportunity to deal with him yet. So many good words written about him inspires confidence, to be sure. It is Chinese New Year which I only know as a one day affair. Year of the horse. Last year , (the snake), was not the best, but worst year of my life. Seems like things are better this new lunar year. I wish everyone happiness and prosperity. Also, saddle up hop on your horse and run like the wind!!! 1
mtbkr65 Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Thanks to this post just placed my first order with toro! Not my first rep but first from him! Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
seanburke33@gmail.com Posted February 8, 2014 Author Report Posted February 8, 2014 My apologies to Toro-bravo got my watch and all is good
whoever Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 My apologies to Toro-bravo got my watch and all is good any pics? :-)
christianm Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 Still waiting for my order tracking from over 2 weeks back no reply either to email.
jpz5142 Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 Still waiting for my order tracking from over 2 weeks back no reply either to email. Most of china is only today returning to work after the Chinese New Years celebration. ie: all of china basically shuts down for two weeks.
