I've been doing a lot of research one gen watches and see what I really was into. I keep going back to the Brietling transoceanic chrono with the ocean bracelet, but $8000 is a lot to see if I really enjoy it.

After doing reading on here I stumbled across this rep Joshua hope it's legit. I will prolly go this direction first. Any advice

Welcome. The way acquire knowledge is through reading and research. If you are knowledgeable about what you want to buy, then you won't make as many mistakes, and will suffer less disappointment. The search button is your best friend. Use that first, then if you need more help, folks here will be happy to assist you.

Nope. You go to amazon and buy something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/TRIXES-Repair-Adjust-Battery-Changing/dp/B00AENXUI2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1395005972&sr=8-2&keywords=watch+repair+tool+kit (I just picked any, choose the one You like). Those are cheap and always come in handy for this and future watches and other minor repairs around the home. It also has the tools to remove the bracelet if You want to put it on a leather or NATO strap. I would order one too.

If you read the rules of the road here, you will come across several "DON'TS' on  this and every other forum. Read This http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/24786-read-our-forum-rules/

Pay special attention to #'s 25 and 26. If you read this thread, you will know what you can and can't do on the forum.

The search functionality sort of works here, but I've found that sometimes it just doesn't find anything, even when searching for my own posts I know I've made.

So don't be afraid to ask.

I love the Breitling Transocean! I've got mine for a year and it's at least once per week on my wrist ;)

Check some pictures of mine here: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/155182-breitling-transocean/

Martijnp, I'm not really a Breitling guy but this picture is stuck in my head perpetually.

I will get a Transocean on mesh at one point, thanks to you brother.

Cheers
