grifter
I have a movement going into a build and when I advance the time the date doesn't snap over, but rolls over. Is this an easy fix? I'm not a movement guy so any advice or help is much appreciated. Thanks!
mymanmatt
Something is causing it to drag. It should pop. Usually a minor issue
kbh
Of course we'd need to know what movement to be sure. I believe the 7750 movements take about 45 minutes to switch over.
ceejay
Could be a broken/dislodged date pawl spring. If it i,s they range from easy to right pain in the [censored]! Sent from my toilet using Andrex.
freddy333
Good, clear macros pics of the date wheel & related components &/or the movement model be very helpful, but also check to be sure you have the correct date wheel & calendar ring for your specific caliber & that the ring is fully seated onto the pillar. grifter
Right, apologize again. The mov't is a 2824 modified into a gmt and the dwo was actually catching on the gmt gear, making it flip over funny. Re-applying the dwo with careful consideration of the gear solved the problem and the date snaps over nicely. Hope this helps!
