netniet Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Not a rep, but I couldn't resist. This is just a dream watch. 1
Nanuq Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Holy smokes, now we're into the tropical dials..... My heart!
pjsayer Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 My humble contribution... Pretty much stock PT with non-Sternreuz T39 crystal, Athaya crown and tube and 2846-2. CGs still need some work and I really want the lug holes drilled, but otherwise I'm happy to slap this on to my wrist.
Chuck P Posted October 7, 2014 Author Report Posted October 7, 2014 Just put this baby back together. Modified the date aperture a bit (opened it up some) and put a couple more coats of matte finish on dial.
blackoyster Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 What beautys here!!!! Send from comandantes

Then I spotted the insert, and wondered why he swapped his - that's when I scrolled over to his username and realized it was you! Great build Here's my 1665 with a SRSD Whoop Dial
Nanuq Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Verrrrrry nice Single Red, Whoop! I might as well post up a photo of my crusty old beater...
whoopy12 Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 I love it how only 1 watch has the correct date on this thread. Too much work changing it imo
Nanuq Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Date? On my watch? Well lookie there, there IS a date on that beater. Who woulda thunk it? Pfffffft.... it's right once in awhile. Good enough for me. 1

whoopy12 Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Hey Whoopy, what do you mean "correct date", you mean matching the date of the post or correct date font? Just noticing how almost everyone opts out of setting the date when changing watches
davids100 Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) Just noticing how almost everyone opts out of setting the date when changing watches Look at my group shot pictures above, all my watches are always synchronized Pics from my DRSD are old ones. BTW, let me congratulate you for your job on dials cause it's a real pleasure to look at it and compare it with gen pictures without be frustrated because of flaws Edited October 8, 2014 by davids100 1
