Elchino
Hello everyone! I want the members opinion on what should i do when i ride my motorcycle, I mean: could my reps get damaged because of motorcycle's vibration? Could the reps lose accuracy on the time because of that vibration? Should i take my watch off when i ride my bike? Thanks for your advise! GenTLe
Same question here... Mike, tell us (also tell us your bike: a thing is going around with a 4-inline another is on a hardtail chopper)
mymanmatt
If it's a quality rep, yes you can wear it on you bike with no problem. I have two Harleys. A 99 street glide and an 85 wide glide. I wear my gen and my rep on both of them. I don't know what you ride, but I promise you don't have anymore vibration than I do on my 85 wide glide. Nanuq
Pfffffft, buncha crybabies. Nothing on the road vibrates as much as my mtn bike hammering down a rocky trail. I've never had trouble with a watch getting trashed or losing time offroad, but a heavy watch like a 1665 willl beat your wrist to DEATH from the pounding. I used to wear a MBW 1665 to hockey practice and an hour of slapshots never hurt it, but if I was overly aggressive I'd find the minutes hand had rotated around -15 minutes on its pinion afterward. GenTLe
Good advises guys, thanks. I think this has been triggered by the post on golf killing mechanical watches on the other RWG

LOL I ride a Honda chopper 1300, and it has vibration but think it's less than your Harley has. I was afraid that the hands could fall, but i think i'm relaxed now.
