droptopman
Good morning, Researching a bracelet for my 1016 build. I have a rivet bracelet that came with my cartel 1675 and had planned to use it, but I keep loosing the outside screws and now I am short 3 screws... I like the look of the "7206" as I did a lot of hand work on it to give it a vintage look and feel, but not sure I can solve the screw problem. Anyone run into this problem? Any suggestions for the screws. Thought about going to the local jeweler to see if he had some screws that would fit or maybe the hardware store. I bought another partial rivet bracelet on the sales board but it will not work. Screws do not fit and there are not enough of them anyways. Other option is to use a 7836 folded bracelet which may make more sense--no screws. Studied some old threads on 1016 builds and most recommended "mary" watch international's 7836 and they have some in stock and they are inexpensive but only take WU. Trusty has a folded for same price for a 1655, trying to determine if these are the same bracelet? Yuki has both the 7836 and 7206 but are three times the cost; however they do look good. I have never had any of these options in my hands. Anyone have experience with these models can give me an idea if it's worth the extra to go with the Yuki? Any help much appreciated. This is the last piece I need to get the build assembled.
monkeypunch
I got my 7836 from Josh. As far as I can remember it was like $55 with free shipping.
dieselpower
I remember reading rave reviews of yuki's 7206 but he seems to be out of stock most of the time.
netniet
Yuki has the 7206 currently in stock.
tomhorn
I used Mary's 7836 with WSO's 580 endlinks on mine. Didn't have to pay w/ WU though. Maybe it's a new requirement? Edited August 30, 2014 by tomhorn
droptopman
Thanks guys. Everyone has in stock right now. Mainly debating if it's worth the extra $ for the Yuki. Anyone had both of these models to compare??? Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
tomhorn
If you are talking 7836, the answer is no, the Yuki is not worth the additional cost. I know there is a review of them someplace (maybe LHOOQ?). I think the Yuki 7206 is worth it though. droptopman
Thanks T. I will order the 7836 from watch international and I think I may have found some screws to fix my 7206. So I should have options. May order the Yuki 7206 too while it's available. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
Mendota Explorer
Don't do it. The Yuki isn't built the same today as it was in the past. Delaforce just posted a review over on Homage Forum of his old one versus the one he just bought this summer and the new one is not the same quality. CptTripps
Yuki's 7206 is good, but IIRC, it has the captive end-links. I punched them out and used gen 580s on my 1655. For $55, it's a great bet.

droptopman
Sweet piece. I just drilled out the rivet ends to accept the 2mm bars and it's fits perfect with the 580 end links. I have 3 watches with jubs and none with old school rivet or folded so going for that look. Really like the rivet on this piece looks great. In fact just boxed everything up to send off to be assembled. The folded bracelet is still 2 weeks out and I am getting impatient.....let's hope we can sort out the 7206 for this:). Rg500
Have you tried a tiny amount of loctite thread lock on the screw threads? That should stop them coming loose but still allow you to undo them when you need to. I use loctite blue and put a dab on with an oiler.
