projectologist Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 This one was acquired yesterday in trade locally. It's a Noob v3 that was sent off to The Zigmeister by the first owner for a movement service and Asian Inca mod. I flattened and polished the winding and ratchet wheel screws as well as the teeth of both. Then I did a re-polish of the case set and fine-tuned the cg body, lever and both roller-bearing and lever pins. During a long lunch break today I grabbed some phone pics of one of my favorite SS 44mm PAMs... Flattened and ready to go back in...
martijnp Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Fantastic watch! Wear her in good health Sometimes I miss my PAM111..
markiemark Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 I remember my first PAM111 from Marlin, sold it with regret. Ordered a new one from him right away and it's back on the wrist. I also upgraded the CG to a v4 one and finished/modded the lever with a glass file, now it is perfect. Will also flatten the pin after seeing your pics (thanks!)

Josephblack88 Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Great review! I bought a Pam177 from Hontwatches, and I'm going to replace myself the incabloc. Do you think it's a good from Hontwatches?I ordered it but haven't received yet
Josephblack88 Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Which website do you recommend? Intime or Hontwatches?
projectologist Posted September 28, 2014 Author Report Posted September 28, 2014 I do not have any experience with either of the dealers you mention. I use a dealer that is listed at RWI for new releases and try to buy all other watches from members I trust.
Mapman57 Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 What a super dial shot And the watch ain't half bad either

Josephblack88 Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Are you going to replace the incabloc so it looks genuine?
Josephblack88 Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Should I buy this Pam111 from Intime?http://www.intime.co/product.php?id_product=1583
projectologist Posted September 30, 2014 Author Report Posted September 30, 2014 (edited) Are you going to replace the incabloc so it looks genuine? No... it's close enough when viewed from 1.5 ft Should I buy this Pam111 from Intime?http://www.intime.co/product.php?id_product=1583 Yes Edited September 30, 2014 by projectologist
chris5264 Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 crown guard looks nice...any tricks to getting it perfectly flat agasin't the case?
projectologist Posted September 30, 2014 Author Report Posted September 30, 2014 Speaking only for myself, I try to buy a watch that already has a good cg to case fitment... otherwise I don't buy it. Plus I'm lazy, it's not an easy mod to get a perfect fit.
chris5264 Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Thanks,,,I can imagine the right tools...have to keep a sharp right angle for the bottle but top is curved so can't really clamp it down. Can't use a file as one slip creates a gap...certainly is easier to get one with a good fit. ...
persianpirate Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Very nice... What did you use to polish the case? Mine can use a facelift
seeaye Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 If anyone is hesitating on buying a panerai.. just look at this. The closest you will get to the feeling of holding one in real life. Beautiful! They look so much better in person than in pics!
blackoyster Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 All my crownguard had custom fit.... You got to try it with a dremel.....and step by step.....Till its Perfect!.... Send from comandantes
