hackR
dial is a dead given away...not to mention the case...and the bracelet with a polished center stripe - seriously?! Edited November 22, 2014 by hackR
Resistor
What is it about the dial that makes it a dead giveaway? The bracelet is tacky, but any fool with a gen can have theirs polished for extra guido factor.
Rolexman
Why is this fake? Looks gen to me.
hackR
the "s" on superocean should be more curvy at the end...and the concentric circles should be tighter, which makes the dial shine in every direction...bracelet end link attaches to the lug slightly recessed, not flush... just saw that the post was removed...someone must have made it known...not me.... genoint
dial is a dead given away...not to mention the case...and the bracelet with a polished center stripe - seriously?! The older steelfish non XL came with the polished center link bracelet. The hands are definitely Gen as the paint on the seconds hand goes past the end of the square. It stopped at the square on the rep. Also, the dial is very grey blue in some pics which is very indicative of it being Gen. I am leaning towards Gen. But who knows could be franken. Or maybe all of the pics aren't his. His photobucket with all pics is on repgeek.

hackR
i have the gen blue steelfish...dial is not right - for either the original x-plus or later revised dial...the center links were polished on the x plus with the Pro 1 bracelet...the Pro 2 bracelet didn't have a center polished link... PAMman
It looked identical to mine, which has been fitted with gen hands and datewheel, although mine has the fully brushed rep Pro2 bracelet.
