I've made too many threads on this build! I only swapped the dial and hands this time around.. Just to recap its a Phong cased 6538 with a gen band, bezel, insert, t17, crown, 1030 movement and now hands. special custom gilt dial. Few more pics from today16725118548_3b8b671a62_o.jpg

Wow.  I'm speechless.  That is really something special.  I wish that all of you big crown experts lived closer to me so I could come see them and hold them in person.  This is true excellence.  I especially love the red depth on the dial.  It's one of my favorite 6538 dial variants.  What a classy piece.  Truly an heirloom.  

 

Is the tip of the minute hand touching the rehaut?

Thank you, I love the red depth too! It isn't touching no, it's a hair past the minute track but is exaggerated by the superdome t17
