pollux1 Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Both pictures are fantastic, but the second is mesmerising. Not yet, maybe someday when I start to slow down. Right now there's just too much fun to be had! Here's a nice one of McKinley. Did you use a filter for this shot?
KB Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 OMG that one is just begging for a multi million dollar ski resort Ok ok sorry already Again Beautiful Ken
sailboat641 Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 I have spent 99% of my life on concrete with rarely a plant to be seen and really had no desire to venture out into the "wilderness." However, as I upgraded to HD cable over the holidays, the Discovery channel in HD and these pictures have started to convince me I need to take a break and visit nature.....and no....I don't count the all inclusive resorts in the Carribean as "nature."
Usil Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Great shots. You live in a beautiful part of the worldand I am sure the boys appreciate you. When they get older will you leqd them into Explorer Scouts? Usil
TwoTone Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 @B Absolutely gorgeous pictures... Here's a couple of shots I took July of '04 on a drive down the Kenai Pennusila... TT
cornerstone Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Awesome pics!! The bears hang out up there in May when the moose drop their calves. It's safe hiking year-round otherwise. Actually, I think if you squint between the bushes TT actually managed to get a picture of one:
