Don'

No history on the watch, but seller has history on the site I found it on. I'm taking the chance...will be easy enough to take the case back off when I get it.

Are you meeting up to buy?  Is it possible to check the serial number?  It looks genuine to me from those photos.

+1, it would be nice if the seller could shoot a picture of the SN for you. Early 14060s came out around 1990 when they retired the 5513 and had the 3000 movement. Later ones had the 3130 movement which was better.

Considering the site I bought it from, the owner probably doesn't have the ability to remove the bracelet or caseback. Once I receive it, I'll be able to do that and make sure everything checks out. I took the risk since I could pay with a credit card and the member has good reviews and history on the site.

Thank you for the feedback, I realize you can only do so much with these photos. I just wanted to make sure it didn't scream rep before I pulled the trigger.

I wouldn’t be in any rush to sell a 14060, they look better by the day. Personally I think they are currently under valued, especially as the 114060 isn’t anything like as distinct from the 116610 as this is from the 16610. They all had through lug holes as well, which is nice

So how blasphemous would it be do get the crystal double ar coated by prof? I had a black dial Explorer II from him and loved it. I could always polish off the outer layer when it was time to sell.
