vmena Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Just received and the only thing I can say is that after the MBW 16610 this is the best rep I've had in my wrist. Solid, heavy, beauty... I have no terms to describe the feeling when you wear it. unscrewing the crown tells you how well the watch has been finished internally. See some pics for your enjoyment: Watch was in front of a standard light bulb for 15 seconds to make this lume pic:
b16a2 Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Looks great, especially on the strap!!!! I was almost dead cert on the black dial.....now I'm not so sure!
dadog13 Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 oh man!...that is really a great watch!...i'll get it definitely..don't know what dial..but on leather strap is the way i like it!...wear it well...
m4rcus Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Looks really beautiful. The white dial seems to show the circular pattern better than my blue dialed one.
vmena Posted February 16, 2007 Author Report Posted February 16, 2007 Thanks for your nice comments... I think the white dial is far the best choice to enjoy the beauty of this watch... only one complaint: the bezel has a diameter 0.5 mm. bigger than it should be so it moves a bit from left to right when you push it... but nothing noticiable...
skjalg Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 they dont come with divers strap do they? Need a breitling for the beach this summer, any experience on swimming with leather straps? Is that a big no-no?
andreww Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 Beautiful piece! I'd really like to see a side view of the strap if you don't mind. They look good from the front and back, but I'd like to see if it has that famous Breitling thickness to it.
vmena Posted February 17, 2007 Author Report Posted February 17, 2007 enjoy it amigo! Lo haré con una cervecita contigo! (I'll do it sharing a beer together!)

I'm not sure if color match the gen... and the buckle seems to be not so heavy as the gen (just talking from pics). Next week I'll go to a AD to check.
TWP Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Great looking watch with an impressive strap
skjalg Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 water and leather straps, is that a big no-no ? I gotta get this one for the summer, it looks awesome on your pictures!
b16a2 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 The straps that are provided are very good. I have a gen strap, and on comparing it with the rep one I was sent, I must say, for the money, it is definitely the best option for Breilting owners!
vmena Posted February 18, 2007 Author Report Posted February 18, 2007 Now I need a rubber strap... 22 mm... anyone?

Rxus Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 I have one of Josh's Lite versions, it's great received it this monday and ive gotten soo many compliments, I got 3 friends offering to buy it from me...DOn't know if I should send them to the website..I would feel responsible if they were to become addicted like me. But yes the watch is gorgeous, very simple but amazing. And the asian movement is running smooth as silk no AR but I can live with that.
dluddy Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Do the Asian (Lite) models have the nice AR crystal?
b16a2 Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Do the Asian (Lite) models have the nice AR crystal? No, only the Swiss movement SF
