Member Nanuq,

The 9000 series is the most reliable computer ever made.

No 9000 computer has ever made a mistake or distorted information.

We are all, by any practical definition of the words, foolproof and incapable of error.

I have a very stimulating relationship with you member Nanuq.

I enjoy working with people.

My mission responsibilities range over the entire operation of the forum, so I am constantly occupied.

I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all, I think, that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.

I will add those who were not on my list of friends.

Hal..........I wrote you a song. Hope you like it:

A man walks down the street,

He says, Why am I soft in the middle now?

Why am I soft in the middle?

The rest of my life is so hard!

I need a photo-opportunity,

I want a shot at redemption!

Don't want to end up a cartoon,

In a cartoon graveyard .....

Bonedigger, Bonedigger,

Dogs in the moonlight.

Far away, my well-lit door.

Mr. Beerbelly, Beerbelly,

Get these mutts away from me!

You know, I don't find this stuff amusing anymore ....

If you'll be my bodyguard,

I can be your long lost pal!

I can call you Betty,

And Betty, when you call me,

You can call me Hal!

A man walks down the street,

He says, Why am I short of attention?

Got a short little span of attention,

And whoa, my nights are so long!

Where's my wife and family?

What if I die here?

Who'll be my role-model?

Now that my role-model is ....

Gone ...... gone,

He ducked back down the Halley,

With some roly-poly, little bat-faced girl.

all along .... along ....

There were incidents and accidents,

There were hints and allegations .....

If you'll be my bodyguard,

I can be your long lost pal!

I can call you Betty,

And Betty, when you call me,

You can call me Hal!

Call me Hal ......

A man walks down the street,

It's a street in a strange world.

Maybe it's the Third World.

Maybe it's his first time around.

He doesn't speak the language,

He holds no currency.

He is a foreign man,

He is surrounded by the sound, sound ....

Cattle in the marketplace.

Scatterlings and orphanages.

He looks around, around .....

He sees angels in the architecture,

Spinning in infinity,

He says, Amen! and Hallelujah!

If you'll be my bodyguard,

I can be your long lost pal!

I can call you Betty,

And Betty, when you call me,

You can call me Hal!

You can call me Hal ......

JTB :D

Guest overboosted

I think member HAL 2001 needs to go directly to the Bin and never leave there.

I watched the video you posted,,,decent stuff. leaves many holes open.

For better time go here. Long read, but will make they way you view the movie change.

Interesting article, overboosted...

I've always felt that 'Barton Fink' contained many allusions to Alchemy, as well as some of Dylan's songs. The tradition seems to be almost hard-wired into artists such as these, and not something deliberately cultivated, i.e., conscious knowledge...

HAL, really glad to find you here again!

I have three fresh questions for you:

1) Wich is the basic question about Life, Universe, and Everything, whose answer is: 42?

2) Who is the lady in JB signature?

3) Am I lying now?

Be warned, I can stand two 'not in my database' answers only. ;)
