dadog13 Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 well, i find this mvt simply gorgeus! if i had the cash i would buy it for sure...but seems that is going to be really expensive...maybe the seller would take in consideration my RWG cash...what do you think? well, what do you guys think about this movement...imagine it on your Panerai with display case back...when you take it off and show the back..people would think it is a 25000$ watch... well, let us see how this auction will end... enjoy! tallguy83 Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 I've thought about getting the IWC Jones and throwing one of those decorated movements in it. Nice find.
spaghettiman Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 Ubi- Maybe it's what you meant, but that's Tourbillon's ebay store.... I have a piece on order currently...I will give a full review upon receipt! -Spags
Watchmeister Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 Beautiful movement. But where is the swan neck?

jimmytim Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 That is a very nice piece, wish I have a use for that...
Craytonic Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 Someone could get a davidson dial w/o any panerai stuff on it and drop in that movement for a very nice watch!
sydneysider Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 actually, I dont fancy the movement at all. Looks good from afar, but cheapie at close. just my 2 cents!

t Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 thank you friends but i think this gold color isn´t good for panerai watch i have same movement in nickel (silver color)... looks better on panerai movement. also same movement as 6498 small second on 6 o´clock don´t forget panerai used same movement... swan´s neck regulator and the regulator on my special movement are similar... it will be adjustired by a screw + - ... only the design of regulator is differnt... also have my movement a special balance wheel with screws... panerai movement haven´t.
Indyclmbr Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 This place is fascinating. It never suprises me what I learn from this site. Checked out the other auctions. Very nice pieces. Climb on.
