Finepics Posted July 6, 2006 Author Report Posted July 6, 2006 Houston we have a problem. I have just discovered that the Power reserve models (which are actually a 2892-A2 movt) have a different datewheel. This means that it will have to be a seperate rn for these so I need to know exactly how many of you have the PAM 27 and 28 models. It might be that these will be more expensive depending on the numbers as this means 2 lots of setup fees instead of one. Sorry chaps but that's the way it is. Please indicate if you have a PAM 27/28.
Finepics Posted July 6, 2006 Author Report Posted July 6, 2006 Come on guys - help me out here. I really need to know the numbers of Power reserve owners as soon as possible - this will not be repeated so if you miss out now then tough!!!
Canuck88 Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 I'd recommend doing a new thread mark - a lot of people may not be subscribed to this one? Just a suggestion (lucky me I don't have a power reserve model
Finepics Posted July 6, 2006 Author Report Posted July 6, 2006 Not a bad idea actually - will do that very soon as it is my bed time!!
olreon Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 hello, count me in for 2 for the gmt´s and one for the power reserve! best wishes olreon
yodaddynukka Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 im still in for one for my 063. thanks!!!
Finepics Posted August 10, 2006 Author Report Posted August 10, 2006 Hey guys, as with the Power reserve models these are still on the go and once the 7753's are out of the way we will be on our way to greater heights!!!
Canuck88 Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Any updates Mark? Are the 7753's almost done?
Finepics Posted September 7, 2006 Author Report Posted September 7, 2006 Well I spoke to the printers again today - and the 7753 problems are acknowledged and being corrected. We should get them back mid-end next week. So as soon as these are sorted the 2893's will be done. The wheels are all in stock and sitting there ready so hopefully it will be this year!! Only kidding (or am I???)
cskent69 Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Mark, Is there a way for us to know if we are on the list for the 7753 and the 2893? I really don't want to miss either - as I have missed these kinds of things before.......
Finepics Posted September 7, 2006 Author Report Posted September 7, 2006 7753 is too late but the others should be plenty to go around. As soon as they are closer to coming out I will make a post and take provisional orders.
TK471 Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 7753 is too late but the others should be plenty to go around. As soon as they are closer to coming out I will make a post and take provisional orders. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of this thread from the Dark Side! This is exactly what I'm looking for. I understand that you're not yet taking orders for the 2836-2 in my 63 GMT, but as soon as you are, I will take one. Thank you in advance for the hard work on this. Zach
Finepics Posted September 18, 2006 Author Report Posted September 18, 2006 I will start a new thread soon on this but just to update this one - as you will all have seen the 7753's have finally reached a satisfactory conclusion and the 2893 wheels will be only a couple of weeks away. keep your eyes out for the new thread which and I will start taking orders once I have a pre-run example to test and photograph like the 7753's.
Chronus Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I'm in for the Power Reserve and 2 GMT models, whichever this applies to ... but take your time so I can get the money together
archibald Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 I'm in for the Power Reserve and 2 GMT models, whichever this applies to ... but take your time so I can get the money together 1 for me, please.
TK471 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Was a new thread started? I'm still hoping to reserve one of these, just not sure how to go about doing that. Thanks, and, uh... bump, I guess.
sssurfer Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Finepics just took his 7753 project to happy end, and I suppose he's reassembling a bunch of watches now... We can think that 2893 and 2892A2 datewheels are not far from here.
ajoesmith Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 count me in for 2 or 3 if im not too late
