alligoat Posted October 2, 2007 Report Share Posted October 2, 2007 Early submariner 16610's had the 93150 band with 501B end pieces. Around 2000 or so, the 92350 band with SEL's came out. SEL means solid end links which are part of the band itself and not separate like the old style. Noob has the 93250 since it is recent- 2006. freddy333 Posted October 5, 2007 Report Share Posted October 5, 2007 The springbars & springbar holes (in the side of the lugs) of rep watches are usually smaller than their gen counterparts. The difference in springbar holes makes it relatively easy to spot a rep Sub or Seadweller from several feet away. If you enlarge the holes and replace the narrow rep springbars with gens (or properly sized aftermarket springbars), your rep will be one step closer to looking like a gen. The lugs on the rep case are slighty bigger than on gen ones... Countersink the caseholes is totally wrong,drill them and polish it.
