Jaymoi
My friend is considering buying one of PureTime's Patek Philippe rings. However we can't figure out how to measure his finger to get the right size! When we originally tried measuring his finger it was apparently 7cm(ish) going around. However the largest size PT offers in this ring is 60mm, doesn't add up! Friend's finger is not big at all, he has small hands even! Please help! Ta, Moi BTW please give as a "fool proof method. As we are really stupid i am afraid!)
TeeJay
Only thing I can suggest, is going into a jewellers, getting them to size the finger as normal, and then ask what that size convert to in mm. Even if the clerk gives you this look: , their manager should (one would hope) be able to answer the question.
Victoria
My friend is considering buying one of PureTime's Patek Philippe rings. Honestly, I don't ever remember being measured for a ring. I just have always known I vary from 6.5 to 7, US size in the "ring finger" (ladies' hands swell during certain times)...or bra size, or in fact, hat size. I just try stuff on and voil

giorgio
60mm is about a size 9.5, which is large (especially by Asian standards). If your friend's finger is 70mm around, then he'd need a size 13 ring which is actually huge (a Z+1 in UK sizes)

hambone
Back in the middle ages, we are talking like 1961, many potential purchasers of rings would insert the ring finger into the anus of a wildebeast. The wildebeast would then turn it's head and say, "You are a size 4 lady......NEXT!"
