Nanuq Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Two very generous members here sent me a small gift about 1/2 a year ago, and it's been sitting in my drawer, waiting for the right watch to install it on. So today I did it. Ubi and TT, thanks.
TwoTone Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Looks fantastic Nanuq... I'm glad she found the right home... TT
docblackrock Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Amazing what a difference a minty fresh insert (and a tiny bit of plastic!) makes. Nice to see you're dressing the old girl up All that's left now is to swapout that scratched-up flattie for you-know-what (all the better to show off that chocolate dial), and voila..."perfection" I believe you have a date with a hockey puck
Dizzy Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Uhhmm... it looks a little.. well... I dont know. I kinda like the look without the little gem there. Personal preference I guess. My insert on my 1665 is new.. i am trying so hard to leave it that way. I just want to scratch it up and dunk it in bleach for a while...
Watchmeister Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Looking good. But this is a first. I am used to seeing Nanuq destroy things - not improve them.
tech Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Very nice...i too am on the hunt for a bezel. Now try and not destroy it...

freddy333 Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 I like the improvement. It will make it easier to spot the watch in the snow.
