www_watch
Hi! Seems like some of the manufacturers begin to put an end to one of the biggest flaws of those so beloved TT reps. The pics posted by Paul and River in the dealers section look very tempting. Click! Click! What do you think?
KB
Nothing new here they are solid gold mid links, I suggest the probs you refer to are the plated mid links. Ken
www_watch
@ Ken Hmm.... Yes, solid gold midlinks. But this is the first time for me, that the ENDlink seems to be put together from three pieces just like the gen (i.e. SS on the sides and gold in the middle) Maybe I´m too new to that stuff. Until now I was used to the fact that the middle part of the endlink was only covered with a gold plated piece of metal (or maybe a piece of solid 14K... who knows....) In those pics it looks different. Haven´t yet seen it from any other dealers. That´s why I thought it´s something new.
By-Tor
Correct, this flaw has been fixed now. If you look at the old TT rep endlink you'll see the thin layer of plated (or wrapped) gold over the stainless which looked extremely FAKE. Now that's fixed in Paul's watch, apparently. Great improvement indeed.
Category 5
WOW. What should I say to him to try and coax him into getting me just a bracelet for my EL TT Sub? that's the only thing I don't like about my watch. ...plus, I am already gettimg some slight fading of the gold on my midlinks (after only a month). I need one of these new bracelets! Since River had the same ner TT that EL had I am guessing the gold on this one will match pretty well. Correct, this flaw has been fixed now. www_watch
@ repaustria As I said earlier, the genuine two tone endlinks are made of three pieces. From the pic it looks like the rep's endlinks are made the same way now. But I guess it will take some time from now on to get the finish well done. Looks still a little bit rough on the pics
00-Aspire eshop
For your reference. I will buy solid gold, but not for replica watches. Paul
www_watch
@ Paul Maybe you could post some additional close-up shots of those new endlinks. Also it would be interesting if these bracelets will be available for upgrading an existing watch. Thanks!
vmena
I will buy solid gold, but not for replica watches. Paul What doeas it mean Paul? You are adverising Daytonas and Datejusts in your web with solid 18K gold. Could you please be more precise? These comments do not help us to go and buy. Chronus
I think it means Paul would not buy a rep for himself with solid gold midlinks.
