Could I get some opinions on this watch and dealer?

Ok, so many of you have probably seen my recent posts...Im attemping to find the "perfect" 50th anniversary sub replica. General consencus seems to be I should go with the n00bmariner fitted with an ETA movement for the best combination of quality and authenticity. What do you guys think about this watch and do you know anything about the dealer? Thanks in advance, you guys have already been a GREAT help...

That's the "Noobmariner" with ETA. Good Sub replica, but ridiculously overpriced.

338$ + shipping. Come on...

I would be skeptical with the "full service" claims, as these claims are very hard to prove. And you don't really have to service a new ETA watch. I've had dozens of ETA watches with zero problems, ever.

I would disagree with B-T on this point and agree with Ziggyzumba's point of view, which is that eta movements in reps are surplus and aren't necessarily new, clean or properly oiled. But you take your chances. I've had to service a couple of them, but it's not a big deal. I've also had a couple of asian 21j's serviced- once again, dirty and not oiled correctly.

Andrew has this same eta Noob LV w/o the servicing and WR work for about $100 less.

Hey Bi-Tor,

Is:

http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...products_id=254

the same watch but $120 cheaper and without the "Full service" wink wink?

Thanks,

Mike

p.s. Your name and avatar bring back very fond memories of high school for this old man. Rush was my #1 band in the late 70s (followed closely by UFO, Pat Travers, Bon Scott's AC/DC and of course Zepp). I don't suppose you have a dog named "Snow Dog"? huh?
