Rare "Ivory" Explorer II

@Gio: I can't say I like this dial, either.

This same Ebay store sells a lot of replacement Rolex dials. I was curious if you think that this "ivory" dial has been constructed from a standard white ExpII dial. The real "Ivory" version is quite sought after among the hardcore collectors.

That's an interesting possibility.

Lol--this is the part of their description that I love the best:

Very important notes:

- Previous interested parties had concerned about traces of glue on the dial. It was there when we purchased the watch and frankly, we do not know why there was glue traces there. We DID NOT, repeat, DID NOT replace the lums on this dial.

Mmmhmmm...

wrong dial dial,

this is a dial from the 16570 not 16550

the cream dial must be a rail dial,

Don't take this the wrong way but I'm not sure what you were trying to say. I'm interested in learning about these dials. Can you repost and clarify? It sounds like maybe English is a second language and we are running into a communication issue.
