tanya Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Saw that in the new watchtime. Concord does Invicta Subaqua Noma III
Dutchy Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Cool, but not something I would buy. Dont really like the bezel construction but love how you can see more dates of the datewheel.
Corgi Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Definitely won't be buying that anytime soon... gosh I would sooner get an HBB than that thing... ouch... who designed it? The same people who qc our reps perhaps... (blind people)
LordRasta Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 I sure wouldn't buy the first rep version. Or the second for that matter.
The Mentalist Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 F*ck me, that looks like someone mugged Darth Vader.
Jawo Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 I would have to disagree with you on this one. There are 52 separate parts that go to the construction of this case alone. This watch is much better constructed than the HBB for a fraction of the price. It is also a certified chronometer. Triple layered dial and the Movado groups new superwatch. Definitely won't be buying that anytime soon... gosh I would sooner get an HBB than that thing... ouch... who designed it? The same people who qc our reps perhaps... (blind people)
dadog13 Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 I like this one...however it is not in my top most wanted watch to be repped....there are plenty of them which I would consider buying before than this one...
Jawo Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 I don't think this watch will be repped anytime soon. The repped rotor will have a black C1 sticker on it.
subzero1 Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Kinda looks like a tonka toy. Sorry, I'm not going to get one of these. Now a Graham Swordfish, that's a strange looking watch that I would definitely buy.
DemonSlayer Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 It's a cool watch but not my type personally. Definitely a quality watch though.
diver_dylan Posted December 18, 2007 Author Report Posted December 18, 2007 Its funny, but this one speaks to me....whereas the HBB just never did. D
magagne Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 (edited) photos... Opinions? D Nop... I pass. Look too "plastic" for me. I find there's a tendency to design watch with a lot of this kind of fancy thick case, with screw and plastic parts. Designers, keep it simple, less is more. Just my two cents. Victoria Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 WOWZAH! Opinions? Looks good on you, DD, but it looks like Darth Vader's jockstrap.
lanikai Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 supposedly the tech director formerly AP.. then Hublot,.. designed the Big Band and now is with Concord .. designed the C1 was supposed to be the talk of the Basel show.. (???) it's going for about 11k ..
longshot Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 if every a watch can scream "look at me, look at how clever i am"... that one does every single element on it is taken from another design and zero harmony. we can only hope, say, the non chrono aquatimer is repped before that! oh my, i just noticed the "i am so cool" writing in french on the caseback, wtf
ratchpot Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 It is also a certified chronometer. So it's accurate to within -4 to +6 seconds of variation per day. Awesome!
swdivad Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Bandwagon....! I agree... wholeheartedly.... HBB=wannabe AP ROO Concord= wannabe HBB/Zenith Defy Extreme

pfran42 Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 FUGLY!!! and definitely not for me...it would get caught on anything that I brushed up against. Somebody said "Less is more" earlier in the thread...
diver_dylan Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 I predicted the Chopard Mille Miglia GMT too!!!!!! People laughed, asking why in the hell would they rep a Chopard!
