scoobs1971 Posted December 20, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 20, 2007 if you like the 183 and are looking for a dressy pam, my suggestion would as follows: i) get a 183 w/ the new asian swan neck movement, ii) at the same time order a replacement crown & tube from davidsen iii) send everything to The Zigmeister for relume, crown/tube replacement and cannon pin fix iv) pair with black alligator watch boys strap now you've got yourself a 99% 183 rep (with the most obvious remaining flaw being the shape of the lugs) deltatahoe Hmmm, that could be a serious option, thnx! (Close enough. ) You requested more carbon strap photos, but the ones I have on my 177h are the only ones of the Toscana so far (I will for you later, though). Here is the Don Carbon, however. Defintely a lack of character on my side, hahaha. And on top of it, Rolly's PAM089 pic made me realise that I really missed mine so much that I've ordered a replacement movement and take my chance. Frankly, I have so many straps I really don't know which ones I've posted. Pix and I have identical tastes. On my PAM Purdey 154. Before V told me it's not OEM, I thought I had bought a very affordable (U$60) OEM waffle-pattern strap. Came with the OEM baggie and everything.
