Guest Sql_pl Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Guys! After a year.... after literally 13 (!) months of trying to get one it finally arrived today!!! Got it from Angus and what can I say - one can't be happier with service like this! Fast responses, fast shipping and what is most important I was able to see pics of actual watch for me after Angus agreed to hand pick the best example possible for me! Oh and guess what? He was the cheapest of all! Thanks you Angus my friend!! Watch alone is just georgeous! I lOVE it. It feels very heavy solid and gen! The finish is just amazing. Really top of the top! Even the SS is fantastic and extremely shiny! I don't care it has wrong subdial placement.... overall quality makes up for it twice! It is really big... evn though diameter is likein 3717 is seems HUGE when compared to the Pilot. It really wears BIG. What is great is that Angus' ROOs come with new 28800 bph movements, hopefully there will be no additional problems with it! I already had a problem for a moment as it arrived DOA but I got the caseback off, tried this, that etc etc and finally it started! Ufff... Now it is all sized and is sitting proudly on my wrist as I type this. Oh and it ticks! Here are some quick pics for you guys! And the last one: Thanks!
Stephane Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Happy to see you so happy Sql ! Wear it well
dadog13 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 I love MBW AP ROOs...pity they are so damn expensive, otherwise I'd have all of them... strange you were not been able to get one for 13 months...but what counts now is that it's on your wrist! Wear it well!
rckh Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Great choice my friend!! Is it chinese version? It's so big...no....Huge! I also got my MBW ROO recently. So bad my wrist is too small to wear it on SS band! Congu's! Best Regards, Raymond
Guest Sql_pl Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 (edited) Yes it's an asian7750. Never really had any bigger problems with any of my asian 7750 powered reps so far so decided to go ith the cheaper alternative to your swiss one Raymond. And yes... it is huge... and the lug/band/endlink design has no mercy for skinny wrists.... I ain't got no big wrists either and it is a bit too big for me too... removed 3 links but the bracelet hangs a bit from both sides as you can see in my 6th pic... but whatever! I will get a leather or kevlar band for it soon. Edited January 16, 2008 by Sql_pl
geo1nah2a Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Wear it well M. A great watch. ps: we should organize a Polish GTG.
yellomen Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 I promised myself to wait for the running seconds at 12 version... but pictures like this make waiting really, really hard! Congrats with your new watch... it's BEAUTIFUL
torresp Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 I'm 100% agree with Frank, hard to wait... Congrats and wear in good health
chubbchubb Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Beautiful watch M. - a little advice: make sure that the plastic covers are securely glued to the pushers... I lost one of mine on my EOD and I'm currently waiting for a replacement....
tech Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 Finally Maciek! congrats and enjoy.... cheers
b16a2 Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 Good to see you finally have your holy grail watch SQ! I am with you on this one, it is the best dial theme out there for a ROO. This is the one watch that I would consider selling my right arm for (the gen anyway), wear it well.
DemonSlayer Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 I love the AP ROO's as well. Personally I think they look best on stainless steel, more sporty, the way they are designed to look
vafarmer70 Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 Oh wow, that is the watch I have been craving.
bosk Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 ROO is always eye-candy. I was debating whether to get another MBW ROO or two other watches (AP RO chrono (paris) and Hublot blk magic pvd). I went with the two other watches -bosk
FasTTaP Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 nice... but probably too big for me... What's your wrist size, BTW ???
snoxx Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Nice watch.... I am planning on getting one.. just deciding on the dial / bracelet combination
tobico Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 I have the same one for over a year and it ran perfectly. but last week one of the rubber cap (at the upper chrono start button) just fall off and disappeared. Now it looks ugly and I am sending emails to angus and hopefully he can get me a replacement. but after all, its the BEST replica i have.
SirWesley Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 wow. it is looking so amazing. i wish i could get one of this version. how much did you pay?? i wish you many wristtime with your new watch, wes
