lanikai Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 It was well worth the wait as the bracelet came out BRILLIANTLY !!!! IMO it transforms the Slevin into a different timepiece altogether... this will get MAX wrist time now I think I'll wear it awhile before deciding on modding.. day-date first.. some pics...
k2222 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Guess you are the first one!!! looking great! Please tell me that those endlinks are not to low
lanikai Posted January 25, 2008 Author Report Posted January 25, 2008 Guess you are the first one!!! looking great! Please tell me that those endlinks are not to low end links too low.. not understanding the meaning ???
lanikai Posted January 25, 2008 Author Report Posted January 25, 2008 the bracelt sit very low on the case OK, I won't tellyou it's sitting too low
Watchmeister Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Looking very nice. I agree the bracelet makes it a very different and more substantial watch. How does the inner bezel line up versus the dial? Like Cousteau or better?
dluddy Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 I'm not feeling the bracelet yet Reminds me too much of the GST I'm liking the rubber better

LordRasta Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Well so much for my "break" from buying watches! I'll take one right after I buy this watch.
italiano17771 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 looks great lani. wish they did the braclet for the cousteau too. dont think i can pull off a 42 mm watch. looks great buddy...congrats.

The bracelet makes the slevin visually look bigger than it is .. IMO... the divers strap shrinks it..this is to me because of the mass of the links at the lugs..
Watchmeister Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 I can testify having seen the gen both with rubber and the bracelet that the bracelet makes it appear much more substantial. It also dresses it up under a suit. Rubber does look good but with a Cousteau it is not a must have. See, I can rationalize anything.
