pirvan Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 that's my question... I think that it's so EASY to replicate They have the movement, the same as the FA Jones (without the regulateur function okay, they have to make it works). The case of the regulateur is similar to the FA Jones, and the dial it's so simple! If they can get this, it will be the first good regulateur in reps... Why not?
zaly Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 I think that if they make this, they will sell a lot. It is a very nice watch. (K) xDD
Toadtorrent Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 The risk is still using the A7750 movement with running seconds at 6. Some have good luck with it...others say it's a timebomb due to the strain on the movement with adding the extra gears to move the seconds to 6.
munsterh Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 If they manage to replicate this then that would become a tremendous success - thats a given... a7750 is probably not a good idea due to the seconds at 6 issue... Unitas 6497 modified - that would be fantastic-probably the best solution

Francisco Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 (edited) true Francisco, to 12 And I said "many movements can be sell", instead of "sold" Edited February 15, 2008 by Francisco
yisuspoul Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 Nice to see here so many replicantes. I agree with you, if our chinese friends ever do this watch would be a best seller.
Pix Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Hi, the movement would not be an issue, as many regulateurs with this layout already exist, and they're not 7750. Seconds@6 on non chrono movements is something very common. I like this one a lot too.
dluddy Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 I have an Asian movement Chronoswiss Regulator (Manual movement) that has the same basic layout so yes, it can be done.
Pix Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Seen on iOffer Add a genuine alligator strap...and there is your expected replica No idea how's the back.
jarpo Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I think they can do better than that... Let's see version 2.0
pirvan Posted April 6, 2008 Author Report Posted April 6, 2008 I think they can do better than that... Let's see version 2.0 +1 bump
