sssurfer
again, without God flying around in the skies,it is totally subjective as to what right is.my idea of right and your idea of right are both equally meaningless. I fly around in the skies and I can assure you that you are absolutely correct: your idea of right and Dani's idea of right are both equally meaningless. As mine and everyone else's, btw. sssurfer
ah,but everybody knows what is right and how people "ought" to act,and how they want to be treated. Do you really think you can tell what everybody thinks? that doesn't negate the fact that there is a definate right way and wrong way. Aahhh... I suppose the world looks reassuring that simple... everyone mainly ignores this Now I understand why I ignore this.

andreww
Ah, misleading selective facts Kenny. If Mrs. Beethoven had aborted her 8th child, we would be no worse off musically. Although she did have eight children, Ludwig was actually her third born. I believe one of his older siblings had died by this time, so he was actually a second child. If Mrs Beethoven did indeed abort an 8th pregnancy, young Ludwig would simply have had one less brother.
ryyannon
Personally, I believe that these sort of things are mathematical: if Madame von Beethoven had aborted Ludwig, some other damn musical genius would have been born to Madame von Eindhoven. Don't ask me how I know this, I just do.
Pugwash
Who me? Na... I'm just waiting on Pugs to show up... Yeah, you know I'll call [censored] on this one, don't you. Hitler wasn't a vegetarian, for a start. As for the abortion one, Beethoven was the eldest child of three surviving infancy. Andreww gets it dead on just above. andreww
Hitler wasn't a vegetarian, for a start. Actually not quite true Pug. He was not a vegetarian, but late in his life he only ate vegetables because of a digestive disorder. He wasn't trying to save the planet, just himself.
