Omega Posted April 5, 2008 Report Posted April 5, 2008 Hi! Finally get all parts together and finished today with CG's and final polishing. What do you think, are there hidden some gen parts? A pic how terrible the watch was looking when I bought it: . ..and after a few hours of work: Thanks for looking...
By-Tor Posted April 5, 2008 Report Posted April 5, 2008 Nice. Did you replace the GMT hand, and if you did... where did you find this thinner one?
Tribal Posted April 5, 2008 Report Posted April 5, 2008 Great work my friend This one looks awesome. Fantastic work! This TW Best ones are great.

Omega Posted April 6, 2008 Author Report Posted April 6, 2008 For FUK sake what camera is that just look at your arm hair? It's THIS camera...
w.genzo Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Crystal, bracelet and insert look gen to me. Beautiful GMT, compliments.
Jetsons Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 As with w.genzo, I thought it may be gen crystal but wasn't sure it would be a direct fit on the TW case. I have the same watch with the 2893-2 & the crystal has the over sized cyclops. Your's looks 1000% more accurate. Nice date wheel as well. Where you able to fit a gen crystal without any problems? Congrats on the terrific work and one awesome GMT!
Omega Posted April 6, 2008 Author Report Posted April 6, 2008 OK, here we go, but there is not much to say! Only gen is the insert, the springbars are aftermarket. Crystal I found in my part-case and I think it is an MBW-crystal. The date-cyclop seems perfect 'cause on the GMT-Master the rehaut is not so deep. Bracelet is a rep, but very good finished. What fascinates me, is the steel of the case! It is very bright, not like that on the noobs. Thanks to all for the positive comments...
MAHLER Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 (edited) Really good!! The case is MBW? Edited April 6, 2008 by MAHLER
w.genzo Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 It's the old TW best case with lugholes, really rare now. MBK sells the same. The crystal looks really good, nice to know that it could fit easily..

The crystal looks really good, nice to know that it could fit easily.. I reviewed one of these year ago. Read it here. I agree that TW Best watches are nice. Not always super accurate without mods, but they have a good "feel".
