jfreeman420 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 This watch inspired me to start a Fugly watch thread. Let's see yours. Admin will not be responsible for sickness.

jfreeman420 Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Posted April 27, 2008 WTF is that? I figured you'd be all over that! There is a fine line between gaudy and downright disgusting............ BTW, that used to be a Breitling Bentley.
By-Tor Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 BTW, that used to be a Breitling Bentley. May it rest in peace.
POTR Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 You mean Dave doesn't have the blingiest Breit anymore?
maulermacall@hotmail.com Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Very fugly, but it has a certain charm, brightens up my collection:
TeeJay Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 There is a fine line between gaudy and downright disgusting............ BTW, that used to be a Breitling Bentley. Absolutely sickening that someone would choose to do that to a watch... I mean, fair enough, what people choose to do with their own stuff is up to them, but f*ck, that is a disgusting result... Further proof that having a load of money does not automatically equate to having good taste...
Pugwash Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Very fugly, but it has a certain charm, brightens up my collection: Certain charm? It has personality, but no charm. Here's mine.
Corgi Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 ...recognize many of these are very high end watch, which for the same price you could own a classic Rolex or even complicated Patek Philippe in some circumstances. Also, the only reason I didn't put in the graham, is because I think half the forum would proceed to hunt me down and tear my head off. Lanikai first. So we'll call it a "passable".
b16a2 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 (edited) Corgi, Il do it on your behalf, Im now going into hiding Edited April 27, 2008 by b16a2
jfreeman420 Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Posted April 27, 2008 The graham is definately fugly IMO. Wonder what it would look like encrusted in diamonds?
blade007 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 The graham is definately fugly IMO. Wonder what it would look like encrusted in diamonds? something like this I guess here are some more for the list:
Richard Tracy Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Am I the only one that sees the irony in the fact that most view gem stones on watches as unsightly or in bad taste ?
longshot Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Am I the only one that sees the irony in the fact that most view gem stones on watches as unsightly or in bad taste ? i don't know of this is still true or not, but i remember reading somewhere (possibly in one of alan flusser's books) that for most of their history tiffany & co. refused to make a man's ring with diamonds. it was considered tasteless and low class...
