By-Tor Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 UPO, along with the SMP Chrono, must be the best Omega rep ever. Enjoy!

rosnik Posted May 10, 2008 Author Report Posted May 10, 2008 Superbe Pt = watches of very good quality Modele 45 ? Yes Caliber 45,5 mm
Sturb Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 Beautiful watch. I am wearing mine now and I have to agree with By-tor, the PO and the SMP Chrono are both amazing reps.
its_urabus Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 how is the fit of the rubber strap while you are wearing it? looks like it fits well. how about a wrist shot?
Delicious Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 Congrats mate.. iva got one from percious also really a nice piece wear it well
Stephane Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 One wrist shot for you. Great aquisition Ros. Mine is from PT too. As its_urabus asked, does you rubber band pop out from between the lug when wearing it?
w.genzo Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 I got exactly this one last week from PT too, looks great and HUGE! It's a strange feeling after a daily rolex waring. Good choice
lazarini Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 Looks good all do i never get over the lug ends overlapping my wrist and i had to let it go other then that a great watch wear it well ... Laz
PAMman Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 Looks good and wear it well. I'm wearing my orange one today and I consider it a great rep - too good to justify expensive mods.
rosnik Posted May 12, 2008 Author Report Posted May 12, 2008 Does your bezel pearl center at 12? Only at 99% , one better centering is needed.
rosnik Posted May 12, 2008 Author Report Posted May 12, 2008 As its_urabus asked, does you rubber band pop out from between the lug when wearing it? Yes Steph. The rubber band pop up jus a bit, but that's correct by my opinion.
apowers Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 Looks good all do i never get over the lug ends overlapping my wrist and i had to let it go other then that a great watch wear it well ... Laz Hi Laz Got the same psychological problem with mine. I've ordered a Panatime strap to see if it fits better than the bracelet. Anyway, the orange version I have cannot be worn everyday. Too sporty for me. Only on vacation.
andreww Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 Yes Steph. The rubber band pop up jus a bit, but that's correct by my opinion. The rubber strap should not move at the lugs. It does on the UPO because the case is incorrectly shaped on the back. The Silix version has a small ledge that the rubber strap sits on that stops it from bending forwards, the UPO is more rounded there and there is nothing to stop it from popping forward.
its_urabus Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 @rosnik- the rubber strap should be tight to the case. most pop out from the lugs when you flex your wrist. some have used thicker spring bars to help with this, but for mine it was not enough. my solution as to cut very small pieces of black electrical tape and shim the rubber strap at the bacl of the watch. it makes the strap fit tight, and it never pops out. and unless you take it off and look for it you never see it.

its_urabus Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 I tried to use more permanent solutions, such as glue and expoxy to build up the back of the strap, but no glue will stick to the strap. only dust here is my UPO with the rubber strap On a side note, if you need 1.8mm spring bars, let me know. I had to buy a bag of 100, so I have a few extra.
rosnik Posted May 12, 2008 Author Report Posted May 12, 2008 I want that 1.8 Spring Bars too ! OT @ Urabus: Which type of cars are this?
its_urabus Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 haha that is a ride at disney world lol @Rosnik, PM me and we can talk about the spring bars
Sturb Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I found that common or garden super glue will stick to the strap, well to the strap retainers anyway, one of mine split and I have glued it while Silix sends my replacement. It is holding very well especially when you see how much pressure it is put under with such a thick and grippy strap.
