The only thing I can say regarding alternatives is try the search feature up top.

That being said, to remove the stem and crown, you need to gently push the button located on/about the keyless works and pull.

If you are going to replace the crown, I would recommend replacing the crown tube at the same time with gen parts (crown & tube). The reason is that the rep tubes (& crowns) are junk & the threads on them usually strip soon after you replace them, which requires re-replacement. The gen parts, which you can get on ebay (ofrei.com, cousinsuk.com, julesborel.com, etc. all sell good, Swiss-made aftermarket tubes that work well with a gen Triplock crown (3 dots under the crown is usually a Triplock)), last alot longer & make your watch 'feel' more gen-like. There are multiple tutorials on how to swap out tubes/crowns in the Watch Repair forum as well as in Ziggy's sections.

yep he can get them for you. The tube screws right into the noobmariner with drilling or tapping and is the same specs as the gen 24-703. The crown is also near perfect and i believe its the same one you find on the super sea-dweller. It looks perfect to me anyways.... and its half the price of a gen setup.

I've kinda wondered about this, so does this mean that we are finally getting a good copy of the Submariner crown and tube assembly, L-dizz?

Ya but it only fits the noobmariner as far as i know. If your not sure what fits what then its just best to buy a gen crown and tube and drill and tap your case. The noob tube hole is pretty centered top to bottom so you should have enough 'meat' to accept a larger hole.
