I love the 3717 but sometimes think it is a little plain and I love the big bang but sometimes think it is too flashy. This watch seems to have both good things about those for me ,a "hit you in the face from across the room" look with classic touches. I have been on the hunt for one used and it finally surfaced. chad Posted May 14, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 14, 2008 My only hesitation in buying the watch was (aside from the Marine Maxi Diver- Blue surf) I do not like the direction of the company and the new watches as much as the classic. In fact I do not like most of them at all but my love for this model and there great history was enough not to be turned off by the new models. The finish on it is amazing. A step above any Gen I have owned. This watch was discontinued in 2007. I sold my Chrono Avenger to get this one. Beautiful piece, now if only our dealers would get to work on making some quality UN reps available. I'm thinking the Maxi Marine is due to be repped.
