palpatine Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 thought i would share this one. i am wearing it for a long time now and never had time do do the necessary improvements. Installed a genuine tube and crown some time ago and relumed it. Still some work to be done on it if i find some time

By-Tor Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Great looking watch Tommy. Glad to see you here my friend, you should come more often... and post more pictures of your fantastic vintage collection.
silvio Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Looks real great Tommy. I have no idea that the MBWs has such a convincing end-link. Usually you can spot a faux end link even from 1 metre away because it's always too long on the rep. Now to the usual newbie most potentially-flamed question: where can I get one? Especially since now that I read some discouraging posts about Lucky... Does WM carries them? Thanks for sharing.
vmena Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Very nice Tommy! I need that crown and tube replacement as well as a little CG rework to lift my MBW up to a similar level... Mine must go to your hands to take a "SPA"...
manuel Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 i thought that moden mbw wouldn´t fit gen parts like the crystal you are planning to replace. Nice watch, btw wich case you like most: the old with holes in the lugs or the modern one currently being sold?

Nice watch, btw wich case you like most: the old with holes in the lugs or the modern one currently being sold? i meant replace it with a rep crystal hmmm, i am a fan of both, the old case with lugholes for the vintages and the new case without for teh modern subs
manuel Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 ok, now i understand... is there a way to put a gen crystal and genuine bezel? what mods should be perfromed then? Nice watch
