davewe Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 I love this Seahawk II. I owned a vintage Seahawk and it was a really nice timepiece. While i agree with you that this would be nice to rep, I wouldn't want to see it as a cheap rep. The case and bezel are fantastic. Dave
Guest TTK Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 I have been searching for a good quality rep of the GP Seahawk.....for ages......I would love to see one...still looking.....
bricky Posted March 19, 2006 Author Report Posted March 19, 2006 If you find one Neil... let me know. I'd buy the genuine of course - if I had the money
yellomen Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Neil... if you find one... i'm in!! Just love that watch

bricky Posted March 19, 2006 Author Report Posted March 19, 2006 i see 1 pro in my ad the case is fantastic titanium case better than the panerai case the watch have rubber strap fantastic yes it is power reserve like the panerai power reserve It's also available with ss bracelet: And btw... the technical specs are quite nice too: Movement GP 033R0 Caliber 11 ½''' Frequency 28.800 Vibr./h (4 Hz) 26 jewels Power reserve min. 46 hours Sapphire crystal Case-back fastened Water-resistance 3000 m Pressure correcting valve 300 Atm Case diameter 44.00 mm Case height 20.11 mm
panerailord Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 i think that the movement of power reverse panerai i mean eta 2892 will be fit perfect in this watch if they make it one replica of that
tallguy83 Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Look at the way those lugs curve. Very nice looking watch. And different!
yellomen Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 the weird thing is that in Bricky's pixx the helium valve is at the same siode as the crown, but in other pixx i saw of this beast the helium valve was on the oposite side
thomasng Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 I had a genuine one, that was 40mm, and that one was not the model that could go to 3000m or so. It's easy to pick Seahawk II's up for $2500 brand new on eBay, but the 42mm ones are a bit more. I just didn't like the crown's position on this that much, seemed awkward to me. For $2500, it's quite a nice watch for the money, the quality is there. All it boils down to is personal taste.
panerailord Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 the pro is very different model from the stadart have 44mm case and not 42mm and the felling is more solid than the stadart sea hawk
Guest HeWhoIsLikeGod Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Are you kidding that thing is friggin ugly!
dcrooz Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Are you kidding that thing is friggin ugly! Not my cup of tea either but I'd have to guess that it's pretty impressive under the covers, and very, very robust...
new & improved osteopath Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Helium valve on different sides for SS non 'Pro' version and Ti 'Pro' version. ETA Power resernve movment would work, but crown location would be a problem in a rep. I have wanted this one since it first came out. Almost ready to buy gen. -O
panerailord Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 the pro model have 2 valve helium 1 from each side super@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the movement will not be problem because they can put with jewels the power reserve hands in other side
