b16a2 Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Looks like a genuine Chronomat to me. Ref - 13048. They were made in 1993 for a year. I would want better pictures before handing over the money though.

But don't mention this forum.

By-Tor Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 I'm always amazed how people possibly CAN take such technically god-awful pictures. I mean, how is it even possible? Must be years of practice behind it.
LordRasta Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 If that's a gen, it's the fugliest gen I have ever seen. It looks like Canal St. crap to me.
chrgod Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Fake fake fake... The rep seems to have running seconds@6, while the genuine chronomat of this version has a 7750, with seconds@9. I bet it has a quartz-movement. Also..you can just ask yourself why the seller will sell a genuine Chronomat to you for about half the normal market price..?
iceberg1127 Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 I was quick to all fak as well, but look at the date font in the first pic... it looks sorta gen to me

I bet it has a quartz-movement. Thats the first thing I noticed. Undoubtedly a fake, as I cannot recall Breitling using anything but a Cal 13 (7750) for watches with a 6-9-12 configuration.
