HauteHippie Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 One of my RWG buds is in the middle of a truly ultimate (and passionate) Franken-EVO build, and I was able to find this genuine graphite dial for him... I think he's in bed right now, so before he sees it, will the EVO experts out there tell me how you think this one looks? Pardon the crappy pic quality and dust... Thanks!
takashi Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 Fantastic! The graphite looks very good IMHO.
Rolexman Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 What can be said? It's gen thus perfect!
paulw Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 He will be a happy guy when he wakes up to see this
LordRasta Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 It is simply perfect. The easy tell is the 1, 14, 16, 29, 31, 44, 46, 59 minute markers. Notice they are shorter than any of the other minute markers. Now this was correct on the V1 dial, but the tick next to "10" was off, in V2 they fixed the tick but messed up the minute markers. I assume the V3 is like the V2. It seems like the factories take 2 steps back for every step forward. Great job Chief, this is an impossible find. Your gen SA dials are awesome also. Lucky duck whoever it is.
LordRasta Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 *sigh* I may dream (more like nightmare) about this one tonight. Don't mean to thread crap bulldog, but I just got a Skyland so that will keep me a little pre-occupied. I need to start lifting weights to wear this damn thing!
LordRasta Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 Am I the only one excited by this prospect? This means at some point the gen graphite dial will become available! I guess everyone is currently excited by the gen SA dials and rightfully so, but to me the graphite EVO is the rep of the year.
BROM Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 Tham that is a great dial amazing and how are you LordRasta

Enjoying the Skyland but mad at you because you never told me it weighs 5 pounds! Good to see you online, it means you have electricity at least. Chief, sorry again to hijack your thread.
BROM Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 Yes got electricity and water man life is good.
LordRasta Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 how much do these cost? Probably more than the watch. I don't think this dial is readily available yet.
