Tom
Does anyone know where I can get another handset for my (asian) vintage rolex. I've buggered them up. I have asked my dealer who is looking into it, but I wondered if there was someone on the Bay?
blue_sphere
Wont be any on the bay... at least for the newer movements. Remember you have to find the hands by the movement measurements for hands. If its ETA some tudor hands might work.
alligoat
That's the problem w/ asian movements and hands- they're hard to find- you almost have to sacrifice another cheap asian watch to get a set of hands. Borel lists the DG2813 hands as 100/152/17. Other movements have different sizes. First, you have to identify the movement and then figure out the sizes and go from there. Could be alot of trial and error and it might just be cheaper to buy a whole nother watch and go from there- chalk it up to experience.
jdavis
The dealer that sold you the watch is your best source. He will know the correct hands for your watch and should be able to pick up a set from his supplier. Your chance of locating a vintage set from another source will be slim to say the least. ubiquitous
I think I've got a baggie full of hands for Asian movements... Old left overs from pulling apart some noobs and converting to ETA. PM me with what you need... I'll have a look tonight. Whatever I find that is applicable to your needs will be gratis as none of it's doing me any good...
