Guest TheDude
Yeah i suppose if someone didn't know much about wood or working with wood, they would be impressed with that. I've been an acoustic guitar maker with a very highly respected guitar making firm for 10 years now and i could knock something like that up on my lunch break. Not really much thought put into it is there. Standard run of the mill box
pete2528ca
@thedude.... well, instead of being so cocky about knocking out a box like that during your lunch break, put your money where your mouth is and build one then. lets see, oh, and can i have a side of coleslaw with that? seeing that it is your lunch break and all... Guest TheDude
An attempt at being funny i see. Keep at it young lad As for putting my money where my mouth is, well, proves my point really doesn't it. Those who know don't need to ask. I just hope people aren't paying too much for one of those that's all. I have better things to do with my lunch break thanks, like eat my lunch. Oh and Pete. Don't go jumpin to the defence of someone over something you know nothing about. At least do a little research on the topic first. Don't be a mindless sheep all your life Edited November 1, 2008 by TheDude
rolli
@thedude don't speak, show it !!!!!!!!! do it when it seems so simple, but i guess you cannot make it. here you need a cabinetmaker who makes special custom and single manufacturing, with experience in antique furniture manufacturing. at first i thought the same. the manufacturing of this box it must be very easy. completely wrong. with all the details it was more complex as i thought. rolli
elisiX
Well I think they're money well spent and have made enquiries to purchase one already. I've just today bought a 202/A to match my 201/A and once I have Simon's dials installed, ill purchase the box to fit them in. Great work Rolli.. water off a ducks back these silly comments.
