Omega
Are these going to come sealed in Rolex packaging? I don't know, because I pick them up tomorrow in the late afternoon. If something smells in any way, I will not buy them for sure! In the end it is my money that I invest, and we are talking about price ranges of a gen Rolex wach here! Omega
Interested in a 3135 if available. Sorry, but there were only three left...and they are reserved.
JoJo35
Hi, I'm interested in a 3135 if another becomes available
bertieng
Since the euro/wm9 has wrong crown position, a gen movement won't fit. I doubt it can be modded to fix that issue. What is the problem here? Thought the Euro/WM9 is pretty accurate vs the previous Subs. Can you shed some lights on this issue?
Tribal
What is the problem here? Thought the Euro/WM9 is pretty accurate vs the previous Subs. Can you shed some lights on this issue? The crown position is slightly higher on a 3135 Movement, that's the problem on WM9 and Euro. The Case is build for Eta. But Sean from Etaswiss offers a 1:1 Case for gen movement for 450$. So its easy this time to build a perfect Sub. When you count the cost for this you can get the "perfect" Sub for half the money of a Gen

But keep spending on these Frankens is getting less sense. The cost of the gen. nowadays are dropping fast. Can you imagine you can get a second hand LV atu USD3200 already, at least this is the case where I am.
Chicken Manny
I'd be up for a 3135 if move inventory is available.

I am always on watch-fairs and I always look at the prices, but a good second-hand Tritium 16610 (that are the cheapest) are for far not under 2000,-
Omega
I talked a few minutes ago with the dealer. The movements are 100% gen and new! They are ready to be installed, but they are coming from rolex without modules and datediscs! New price at Rolex is 1470,-
slickdick
What do you mean with 'without modules'?
slickdick
still interrested and commited tho.
Omega
What do you mean with 'without modules'? No date change modul, no hourwheels, no date disc. Only the nacked movement...
Omega
I forgot to write: Rolex is taking always the old module from your watch when you bring it for a movement-change...
freddy333
1 of the 'modules' is the auto-wind module, which includes the winding rotor. Check to see if that is included before handing over the cash. If these movements are being sold without both the date-change & auto-wind modules, the time & cost required to find, purchase & fit both modules may make the deal a bit less attractive. stilty
Yes, that would be a problem if both modules were missing. I have date discs, but no date module, nor autowinding module. Can your dealer supply at least the autowind module?
rosnik
If the autowinding is out too, sorry Omega, but I'm not interested.
Omega
Autowind module is mounted, also the rotor. Only the top module between the dial and the movement is not installed! I am also not interested anymore in a movement for me, I can't get the missing parts, and the dealer also not. The train is gone...
stilty
Thanks for the effort anyway! It got a lot of us excited! Too bad about the module. Date discs are fairly easy to get, but not the module.

rosnik
Omega! Just to close the story............ Can you tell us ??
Omega
No news about it, the dealer was a little offended that I jumped out of the deal. But he told me that there are no date-change modules in the last minutes before I went to him. And without the module I don't need it...if you are still interested I can call him again... I think this would be interesting for someone who needs to change a broken movement of a gen, but for us to start some project it is not useful. rosnik
Thank you Omega, I'm in accord with you. Thank you for the replay, I was only just curious about the story........
