JoJo35
Took some pictures of another all time favorite of mine. An early A-series two-tone, complete with 93153 hollow mid-link bracelet and hollow 401B endlinks. Hmm... now the only question is, is it real or rolex? alligoat
'Swiss' dial means after tritium- luminova, before SL. Sure looks real to me. CG's are spot on. I'll take it either way!
dluddy
You are on a roll JoJo. Looks real to me
Stephane
Jojo, Yes, it's probably real...or Rolex I never saw a TT in the flesh but a Swiss dial plus the gold looks very Rolex to me. Is this one more addition to your amazing collection ? Cheers Stephane
Gadget Man
I'd also have to go with gen on this one, all things considered and looking at the glass and rehaut. Very nice either way
BOOGIE_1976
the sides of the bracelet are not polished so i think its fake.
slickdick
There where unpolished side bracelets at the time, so it can go either way. Looks gen, but could be an old modded TW best with lot of gen parts.
RobbieG
It is a genuine replica of a replica genuine. They sort of cancel each other out. It is either a gen that looks like a replica or a replica that looks like a gen. No doubt that whatever it is half of everybody won't believe you. LOL. Just kidding. Nice watch and good score. Although the lighting helps keep it vague as the gold looks quite brown. The case finishing is particulary rough as well. Certainly, the watch has seen some wars... Also, FYI to the previous poster - The A serial watches are from 1998 and it just so happens that non-brushed bracelet side links is correct as is having no gold on the clasp of course. HauteHippie
Looks gen, but could be an old modded TW best with lot of gen parts. Initially, my thoughts as well.... But it's gen.
JoJo35
Thanks everyone for your replies and comments. Like I said in the opening post, the two-tone has always been a favorite of mine. IMO, the differences between this watch and the currently available new gen only adds a little more flavor. This happens to be a 100% original un-polished gen with 3135 motor that I recently picked up. One benefit over my slightly older tritiums, the luminova still glows like a torch!
