iceclimber Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Just tried to go to Trusty's website ( http://www.tt88time.com/ ) to shop. Site is down.
spider87 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Why do all these websites use 8's in the names?
iceclimber Posted February 27, 2009 Author Report Posted February 27, 2009 I am new to the collector game, and trustys is the only site I know of with the 88. Is this common?? I go there because of the reputation Andrew has on this forum. Post was informational only.
Noel Fleischer Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 it looks like Josh is down too. may be a problem with the server or they have to change domains again. they've been on the run alot lately.
spider87 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 (edited) What site does Josh run? perfect clones and josh's site has 8's in it too... that's why i'm confused... maybe it's like an agreed trend? they use different numbers and match them for each domain? lol OH and yea josh's site simply displays 'wrong page' when you go to it lol... kind of a sad response :-P domain change here we come??? ET also has 8's in it... haha I SENSE A TREND! haha Edited February 27, 2009 by spider87

Maybe they run trough the same server or host or something.
geo1nah2a Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 OT: 8 is a lucky number for some cultures...

Nicco Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Just tried to go to Trusty's website ( http://www.tt88time.com/ ) to shop. Site is down. Hello Iceclimber, Just tried Joshnana's and Trusty's sites, both seem to be up and running, may be they have some form of IP security preventing the unwelcome (law enforcement) from visiting there sites?
iceclimber Posted February 27, 2009 Author Report Posted February 27, 2009 Thanks for all the info. The 88 makes sense. Time to add to the collection!!
spider87 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Yea, thank you very much very interesting fact about the 8s.
MasterOfPuppets Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 those facts are right, 8 is a lucky number but i dont think that our dealers had that thought in their heads, it means something else nobody better to ask than Andrew and Josh!
spider87 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Direct response from Josh: Hi , "8" is pronounce as "Pa" in mandarin.. It rhymes with "Fa" which means prosperity .. Joshua
RIBOOWW2 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Andrew and Josh are very very very very closely allied or else they are one and he same. Same inventory, same prices , line for line. Josh is reliable for delivery and service. Not experienced Andrew yet. Prices not the keenest though but for many worth it to get the good comms and service Rich
MasterOfPuppets Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Direct response from Josh: case closed!
Polynomial Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 (edited) Why do all these websites use 8's in the names? 88 = double luck and getting twice as rich, on our money by the way Edited February 28, 2009 by Polynomial
