Guest carlsbadrolex
Thats interesting... The closeup of the dial looks like the color was really adjusted. It looks really "blotchy" to me. Also, the construction of the case is very different than the V2 or V4 that I have had. Looks like a watch from a completely different factory to me. Tribal
Dial looks glossy to me
dalayclass
I think they put both to show the difference
Watchmeister
Doesn't the ceramic bezel insert look too thin (like v3)? Dial appears to have no (or very little) bevel on the date window but better shaped and lumed markers. I gotta admit this particular rep is getting frustrating. I have been through two versions, etc. and don't really feel it is much closer.
FxrAndy
I too am confused by this whole watch, one min every one says it is great then a new version comes out that solves a flaw and then CBR gets both together and they are like chalk and cheese. ammandel
I'm the same as you guys, I'm still waiting for there to be a final bloody version of this watch released.. So what is this.. the v5? They've called every version since the V2 "Ultimate"
Watchmeister
And at this point I am so turned off to this rep that it turned me off of the gen. Well the bright side is that the two reps have saved me the cost of a gen. Back to the vintages and waiting for the Ultimate SD.

Noel Fleischer
apparently this version is from the same (Noob) factory. Prestige Watch Co. is selling another version from a different factory @ Repgeek. personally; i'm not to crazy about the watch in the first place, even thegen. tanya
No Date Window Bevel = NO DEAL!!! Looks exactly the same as my Trusty V3, where's the difference??? I'm with Kruzer on this one, I had thought about using some tax moolah to stimulate ebay and buy one of the (dropping in price every day) Deep Seas Screw it!! Gonna buy a Pam 104 or 024 instead, enjoy my 5 gen Rollies and live with my V3 Deepsea

Toobs
Only difference I can see between that watch and the V3 is the crown guard I noticed he wrote that bezel now has 1:1 engraving. Sure looks like the old/too thin V3 engraving. Edited April 12, 2009 by Toobs
