ken fingerlove
Anyone else see this thread on the vintage rolex forum? : http://www.network54.com/Forum/207593/thre...e+Custom+Shop... Brand new Daytona, with the CGs ground off, and the case brushed. I think it looks pretty darned spiffy. Much better than original, with a kind of double-take look to it. Someone here should try it
Ronin
I also like it. I would be curious to see it with old style pushers as well (but that could impact WR).

bertieng
Hard to believe someone will put a 9K watch modded into this condition. It has lost its reselling value completely. If it is rep it is a different story.
TeeJay
Hard to believe someone will put a 9K watch modded into this condition. It has lost its reselling value completely. If it is rep it is a different story. The cost is irrelevant, as is resale value. Projects like this are no different to when people choose to customize their cars. Some would say that chopping the top off a Bentley would be sacrilege, but, having seen such a project, I know it looks absolutely awesome, and would probably increase the resale value due to it's unique nature Personally, I can't make up my mind of I actually like this watch mod or not, but, I'm not a huge fan of Daytonas anyway... One thing's for sure, the workmanship is first rate
