I'm afraid of deformation of the threads... is it possible indeed? There are special spring bar lugs that look like Panerai screws and lug tubes. They are great. I use them all the time. Very quick strap changes and no need to worry about stripping the threads. I do sell them in my section, or if you are going to order from Panatime anyway, just include them in your order.
