Slartibartfast
Just have a look at this... ebay No. 190309008678 currently at $485-00. Poor sap who has bid, is going to end up with a "SELF WINGDING" movement. Seller says dial is genuine! Crown logo on caseback doesn't look good either, although worn, is just the wrong shape. Oh dear! On the plus side, the movement looks interesting though.

Pre V
how about the association with the chime of an old grand...."Self-DingDong" It's amazing how collectors are smittened by rare mistakes in a production...myself included.
