Slartibartfast Posted May 28, 2009 Report Posted May 28, 2009 Just have a look at this... ebay No. 190309008678 currently at $485-00. Poor sap who has bid, is going to end up with a "SELF WINGDING" movement. Seller says dial is genuine! Crown logo on caseback doesn't look good either, although worn, is just the wrong shape. Oh dear! On the plus side, the movement looks interesting though.
kbh Posted May 28, 2009 Report Posted May 28, 2009 This'll make it easier: Tudor on eBay ETA 2824 movement?
southcoast68 Posted May 28, 2009 Report Posted May 28, 2009 Thatr is a shame, other tan that spelling mistrake, its a really noice looking wratch. Cherrs
Pre V Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 how about the association with the chime of an old grand...."Self-DingDong" It's amazing how collectors are smittened by rare mistakes in a production...myself included.
