Guest Sql_pl Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 (edited) It took almost a month because of customs in TW and later here in Poland but today it finally arrived... and once again all I can say is WOW! We have to admit it - we are lucky to live in a GOLDEN AGE OF REPS! The quality, weight - it is all just great! The dial is amazing - I love those subdials! The gold is perfect in color. It has a new 28800 bph movement in it. Oh and the slide rule is just as it should be - not white as it is in other Navitimer reps! I will let pictures speak for themselves! Enjoy! Cheers! rek001 Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Gorgeous watch Maciek! May I ask, how big is your wrist? I want one but I have skinny 6.5" wrist, this may be too big for me.
rower Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 What a great watch and great pitures, thank you for sharing them. Does the watch have any AR coating? I couldn't tell from the photos. Thank you in advance for your reply.
dluddy Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 That is a beautiful watch. Great pics Maciek. This is now on my list as the only navitimer I have liked
Guest Sql_pl Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 @rek001 I don't actually know how big is my wrist, will have to measure it later but the watch is not big at all - it is a regular size - around 40-41 mm @rower It may have a slight AR coating but there is absolutely no blue or purple hue like in some pams. Have to tell you even though I am not into gold watches in general this one is amazing. If they will make a full gold navi on a strap I will take it in a heartbeat!
Guest Sql_pl Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 After closer inspection I do think it has an AR coated crystal. Not as strong AR as in my 111 but it DOES have a blue tint. Cheers!
rek001 Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Thanks much for the reply Maciek. I am asking because Neil says his TT Navis are almost 43mm.
chrgod Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Gorgeous watch, and good pictures! I am starting to like the two-tone Navitimer. The gold adds a sense of flair to the tool-like Navitimer..
rek001 Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 41 mm bezel? That's great news, I can wear it! Thanks much.
dadog13 Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 maciek...so this is why you sold the B4B...this one looks great...wear it well!
Dario33 Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Great watcha and excellent pics -- thanks for sharing!
chubbchubb Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Very nice watch Maciek... the Navitimer is one of the all-time classic watches and this new rep generation of the NT finally looks very close to gen. Enjoy it....
robertk Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Great watch. I picked up the white dial version. It IS very close to accurate. congrats.
tmark Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 (edited) Very nice, is that RG or YG? Who did you buy from? I'm ready for another purchase!! EDIT ---OK I'm a moron, if I'd ready your title I would know. ENJOY. Edited October 13, 2006 by tmark
tmark Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Unless I'm going blind (a significant possibility) It looks like you have two watchs. The first three pictures appear to be blue dial with light blue hands on the subdials. The rest appear to be black dial with grey-brown hands on sub dial. Am I missing something besides my brain!!

Shiny surfaces often appear in different color when photographed from different angles... depending what kind of colors they reflect back. For example if you're wearing a blue shirt the hands might get the reflection from that... and appear "blueish" in the picture. If you want to shoot "advanced pics" you need to use reflector cards to get rid of the noise.
chrono903 Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 why does the date font look different than in his (EL'S)pics? In the community guide there are 2 next to each other; one on a strap with great font and one on a bracelet with decent font. It appears there is still a toss up wether you get a great one or just a decent one. Thom
Guest Sql_pl Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Some pics of the Navitimer on a wrist it actually belongs to now: Cheers!
flavor flav Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 great watch! great pics too.. i really like it with that strap.
dvn Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Here is my TT from River on a 6.5" wrist. I don't think it looks too big
andreww Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Awesome to see a lady wearing one of these beauties!
