Just in a perfect piece from Aston Jenkins for today's adventures.

I have been the owner of this beautiful vintage piece for some time. It was an incredible build by weisn089 - all gen except for the Phong case and pushers. My original goal was always to have a white dial brother to this beauty. I almost pulled the trigger when Vlydog put up his beautiful and equally impressive 6263 last year. I still regret not pulling the trigger. Last week, I was fortunate to pick up Polexpete's beautiful 6265 Phong Daytona. Once i source a gen dial and hands, it will also be all gen except for Phong case and pushers. I have a nice black gen bezel waiting in the drawer... The hunt begins for a gen white dial. That will break the bank for sure. But it will scratch the itch I've been having for awhile. Introducing, my V72 twins.

the movement for my gmt is a swiss 2846 that i bought from mike on march 2013 . Since i am not a watch repair person i have no idea what hand i would need.The extra parts for this watch that mike mentioned were sent to him in july. Since its now october, This should not even be in the disccussion. I know u been through [censored] but lets get this done so i can post my watch on the thread and finally cross my name off the list.

I have the straight one with no lume dot, and one with a lume dot Edit: these are the long posted ones - I had ordered 2 straight ones from ofrei when I did my build, just in case it was too long for the dial/case and I had to clip the end off, I wanted 2 chances to get it right. Back to the original topic. 1) I sent my watch to MD based on rolexman recommendation 2) MD sent regular updates on my watch before his personal drama unfolded 3) Once he got back on the grid. I pm'd him, he responded promptly with an apology and thanked me for being patient and understanding. 4) He sent me QC pics and once I gave my approval he sent me a tracking number 5) I would use him again, Because I think he is smart guy and use this as a learning experiences to grow as a business.
