  2. The admin team is currently looking at ways to spruce the forum up a little, to give you (our members) a little more interest factor. To this end I am starting to re-introduce member interviews once again. Unfortunately very many of our interviews were lost due to some glitch and I am looking into if they were saved on back ups, however I will still be rolling out new interviews, probably around one a Month. The interview which will be posted up soon is of one of our much loved members, however so I have a continued source of interviewees I would like you guys to let me know who you want to see interviewed. Maybe just nominate names in this thread and I will go through them in the most popular first order. Ken

  12. Welcome to the forum, I'm sure the guys will be delighted to see your progress reports on modding and give you some excellent tips along the way. As a fellow Brit I have to remind you that you can't be more than 70 miles from the sea in the U.K., which is almost a sea view for some of our members.

  14. Great to have a fellow Brit and fellow surfer onboard. I used to live far far away from the sea too. Now I can see it from my bedroom window

  17. Think you could ask Helenarou if they would print a custom dial, without lume. You send them a crispy pdf or eps file of the dial and they print it for you. Then you find a set of Omega hands and send the whole (dial + hands) to a modder to get the lume done. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk

  18. Yea I was thinking of the omegas, but then I have to broach them for the 1520 etc.. but they would be more accurate and I doubt ill find a set of gens lol the last set I seen was 18K I recall that thread as well and it had the insert with the big serifs and looked amazing ! lol I need to buy this stuff when I see it as I know ill use it someday for a build. I think there was a gen service 5513 dial that had the T applied to it afterwards for sale a while back.

  25. Looks great! Is it just me or is the minute track painted on? Looks like it's all true gilt except for that, unless the lighting is tricking me. Minh dials aren't done on gen plates, the thickness of the plate itself is the way to check quickly, gen is thick, his aren't.. The dark lord uses gen plates exclusively for a few different reasons and that's why his prices have gone up up up lately, because of the cost and effort to find them. Usually the plate is era specific but not model specific. If a 6538 dial is 27mm then he can use any 1030 plate with a 27mm size.
